VP of Sales Position

CyGov is a technology company, focused on providing organizations and service providers with a SaaS cyber risk management and compliance platform that enables them to manage their assessments and cyber security programs effectively.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a talented, motivated individual, who is looking to join and fun, exciting and cutting edge comapny in the cyber security risk management space. This oppourutnity includes taking on a big and exiciting challenge to help distrupt the cyber risk managament industry helping companies be more secure.

 

The position entails leading the US sales efforts, which would require you to have:

 

  • Prior exprience of 5 years or more with success at selling high end technical solutions (prefarbly SaaS and security) to the CISOs of F1000 companies

  • The knowedlge of how to idenitfy and close new business opportunities, understand customer needs, discover and overcome obstacles while truly listening to the customer's voice

  • Ability to self manage day to day activities while working remotley with 30% travel within the US

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve quarterly goals

  • Create and implement account strategy, including developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers

  • Must be able to deliver value propositions to security teams and managment as well as VP and C-level business management

  • Recognize customer business problems and drive/influence resources to address opportunities

  • Major focus on identifying and qualifying new opportunities using the telephone and/or web demonstrations to improve market coverage, increase market share, and grow revenue

  • Implement sales/marketing tactics and programs in order to meet or exceed assigned territory objectives

  • Build up and manage channel and strategic partnership relationships

  • Provide accurate and timely reports/forecasts using company CRM and reporting tools

 

Requirements

  • Team player, fun and looking for an exciting opportunity

  • 5+ years quota-carrying software sales experience

  • Proven successful track record with annual quotas for the past five years

  • Experience in atl east 2 of the core industries (banking, healthcare, retail and energy)

  • Strong prospecting, qualifying, closing skills

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including cold calling, proposal preparation and follow up and presentation skills

  • Goal-oriented with the ability to delegate to pre-sales and post-sales

  • Persistent, hardworking, and dependable

  • Experience selling in a fast-paced, hybrid selling environment, where both direct and indirect approaches are used

  • Prior use of CRM applications and Microsoft applications

 

Preferred

  • Successful completion of a corporate sales training program is highly desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree
